High Altitude Towns - An Obervation

High altitude towns - an observation:

Fleece is in fashion.

Service is quite spotty.

The neighbors wave at passers.

Their dogs like to wander off.

When the snow falls-

None are well rested.

The 20-something’s run on coffee, cocaine, and PBR.

Yet they show up for work each day, on time-

Clothes seldom washed.

They have a gleam in their eye and most often, a snickers bar tucked in their front coat pocket that’s been crushed by their skis. Odds are they’ll eat the flattened, frozen, and near unidentifiable piece of candy anyway.

Whatever it takes to keep you on the mountain. .
